Finswimmers test skills in France

Vietnam take part in the Finswimming World Junior Championship in France from July 4 to July 11 in Annemasse City.

About 200 young athletes from 33 countries have confirmed their participation.

Competitions will take place for eight days in both the pool and open water at the Aquatics centre in Blue Castle and Lake Machilly, starting from July 6 and closing on July 10.

There are 14 indoor events each for men and women and each country may enter no more than two swimmers for each distance and one relay team.

In the outdoor activities, the hosts hold two categories for each gender. Only four swimmers and one relay team are allowed for each distance.

The relay team is mixed. It is necessarily composed of two female athletes and two male athletes.
