Next Media win exclusive broadcasting rights for Vietnam’s World Cup qualifiers
VOV.VN - Next Media have completed the successful purchase of the broadcasting rights to all of the matches which the Vietnamese men’s football national team will compete in as part of their World Cup 2022 qualification campaign.
The company will own the exclusive broadcasting rights to show all of the matches that the Vietnamese men’s football national team are involved in, through all forms of media, including on social networks.
Next Media has yet to reveal which television station will broadcast the matches live.
The national team are due to play eight games, both home and away fixtures, against Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
Next Media owns the exclusive broadcasting rights to show all of the nation’s away fixtures against Malaysia on October 10, the UAE on November 14, Thailand on November 19, and Indonesia on June 4, 2020. These games will be broadcast in addition to all four of the nation’s home games.
The team’s head coach Park Hang-seo will need to see his team secure enough points to qualify for the next stage of the qualification campaign.
