Tam wins Mekong Deltal cycling tour
Trinh Duc Tam won the Mekong Delta Cycling Tournament – Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang Cup which concluded on August 19.

Tam of Gao Hat Ngoc Troi An Giang triumphed with the best total time of 23:53.29 after nine stages.
The green jersey for best sprinter went to Mai Nguyen Hung of VUS-HCM City, while the white jersey for the best young cyclist went to Tran Duc Tien of Military Zone 7.
VUS-HCM City won the team award, followed by Loc Troi Group and Domesco Dong Thap.
On the last 75km stage from Rach Gia to Long Xuyen, Ha Tam Tam of An Giang beat Ha Kieu Tan Dai of BTV Dai Nam Binh Duong and Tran Dong Chi of Ynghua Dong Nai to the finish.
The event attracted 102 cyclists from 17 teams, competing over 10 stages covering 965km through 13 provinces.
The event offered a record prize total of VND666 million (US$28,900), of which the yellow jersey winner walked away with VND50 million.
