U16 Vietnam to play Thailand in AFF semi-finals

In the last round of group matches on May 9, both the Vietnamese and Myanmar teams were in with a chance of taking first place in Group A. Despite their best efforts, the Vietnamese team narrowly missed out on goal difference. They beat Malaysia 1-0, while the Myanmar team beat the Philippines 7-1.

With this result, Myanmar took hold of first position in the group, while Vietnam finished second due to scoring fewer goals.
