Vietnam drawn into ” Group of Death” for Asian U16 tournament
Vietnam’s U16 football team has been drawn into the “Group of Death” at the Asian Football Confederation (AFC) U16 Football Championship.

According to the results, Vietnam has got placed into Group B alongside the regional football powerhouses of Australia and Japan. The remaining team in the group is Kyrgyzstan.
To prepare for the tournament, the team will gather for training on June 10 and will compete at the Southeast Asian U16 Football Championship in Cambodia from July 10-23.
The AFC U16 championship, which will take place in India from September 15 to October 2, also serves as a qualifier for the 2017 FIFA U17 World Cup in India, with the four top teams from the region earning a place in the world cup finals
