VOV to broadcast Vietnam’s King’s Cup 2019 matches live
VOV.VN -VTC Digital Television, under the Voice of Vietnam (VOV), have signed a deal with Next Media to broadcast both of Vietnam’s matches at the King’s Cup 2019 live.
Local television stations who are also interested in showing the matches via VOV’s channels must acquire a document that requires the broadcaster to maintain the programme structure of VOV.
As scheduled, the opening match of the King’s Cup 2019 will see Vietnam take on host-nation Thailand at 19:45 on June 5.
If Vietnam are victorious, the team progress to the final where they will face either India or Curacao. The final of the competition is scheduled to take place at 19:45 on June 8.
The Vietnamese national team are due to gather in Hanoi before flying to Thailand on June 1.
They will take part in three days of training before the start of the tournament.
Vietnam do have some history in the competition, having finished as runners-up at the 2006 version of the King’s Cup where they suffered a 3-1 defeat to Thailand in the final.
