Women’s national team in training ahead of Asian Cup

| Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) Vice President Tran Quoc Tuan visited their first training session on January 3 to offer words of encouragement. |

| Coach Mai Duc Chung said he would continue to call up the outstanding players from the women’s national football championship to play for the women’s national football team. |

| Chung said the national team would focus on physical conditioning for the first training session. |

| The women’s team are eager to achieve the best result in the final round of the Asian Women’s Cup 2018. |

| The women’s national team is scheduled to play 2 or 3 friendly matches in the Vietnam Youth Football Training Centre against some of the men’s youth teams. They will then fly to China where they will compete in a friendly football tournament with teams from Thailand, China, and Colombia. |
