Hanoi’s night tourism products debut
VOV.VN - A launching ceremony for night tourism products in the capital was held on the evening of November 24.
The event saw a lighting art experience space introduce along with an event to unveil the decision to recognise a city-level tourist site for the area around Hoan Kiem Lake, as well as neighbouring areas and the Hanoi Old Quarter.
Upon addressing the ceremony, Dang Huong Giang, director of the Hanoi Department of Tourism, emphasised that night tourism products can be considered as offering new opportunities for the country’s further socio-economic development.
She noted that the rapid development of Industry 4.0 coupled with the Government’s drastic direction in actively implementing digital transformation in the tourism industry have created favourable conditions for the development of night tourism.
The Department of Tourism is therefore keen to utilize the night services in Hoan Kiem district, as well as in Hanoi in general, to develop diverse and unique night tourism products, Giang added.
These activities are expected to provide both residents and tourists with creative cultural spaces, along with high quality tourism products, thereby contributing to development the capital’s socio-economic development moving forward, Giang stressed.
According to information given by the Hanoi Department of Tourism, there will be 15-night tourism products to be selected to introduce to tourists,
Specifically, at 8:00 p.m. from November 24 to November 26 at 22 Hang Buom street, visitors will have the opportunity to enjoy a light art performance and contemporary folk music show.
Hanoi is striving to welcome about 25.5 million visitors next year, up 13.3% compared to 2023, including 4.5 million international visitors and 21 million domestic visitors, earning revenue of VND94.41 trillion.
