National tourism seeks new frontier in Argentina
VOV.VN - The Vietnamese embassy in Argentina had a talk with several representatives of Argentine travel firms on August 14 to introduce them about Vietnam, its land, people and tourism potential.

Travelers to the country often wish to gain insights into the country's diverse culture, as well as exploring some of the most stunning landscapes that the Southeast Asian nation has to offer.
He noted that the number of foreign arrivals to Vietnam has been constantly increasing in recent years. Last year, the country welcomed over 15 million visitors, whilst the six-month period has seen over 8.5 million tourists enter the nation.
The Vietnamese diplomat expressed his desire that through Argentine travel companies, there will be more tourists from the South American country visiting Vietnam and discovering its land, people and culture, therefore forging stronger friendship ties between the two countries.
During the talk, representatives from the Vietnamese embassy briefed participants on Vietnam's history and culture, in addition to the milestones achieved during the country’s renewal process.
Vietnamese embassy representatives also made presentations on the country’s tourism potential and stunning landscapes such as Ha Long Bay, the ancient capital of Hue, the ancient town of Hoi An, and Sapa.
More than 10,000 Argentineans visit Vietnam annually, which indicates that they are keen to get a better understanding about the country’s history, culture, and people.
On the occasion, Argentine travel operators also watched a short video clip introducing Vietnam, its traditional dishes, and had some of their questions answered relating to the launch of the new tours to Vietnam.
