VOV.VN - In years past, Vietnam’s oldest pottery village Bat Trang used to have 20 large kilns serving its ancient potteries. Nowadays, there is only one remaining in the village.

The kiln was built and has been in use since the end of the 19th century. |
It covers an area of 1,023 square metres and has a total length of 15 metres. |
The kiln is fueled by wood and artisans fire their pottery at an incredibly high temperature for about 24 hours. After the kiln cools down, the pots are carefully removed. |
