Vietnam Airlines adjusts flight schedule due to typhoon Maria

VOV.VN - Vietnam Airlines announced on July 10 that it will adjust flights from/to Taipei and Kaohsiung on July 10-11 due to the effects of typhoon Maria in the Taiwan (China) area.

Accordingly, two flights from Hanoi and HCM City to Taipei will be cancelled on July 10 (flights VN578, VN570) and two on July 11 (flights VN571, VN579). The airline will also adjust the departure times of flights from Hanoi and HCM City to Kaohsiung on July 10 (flights VN586, VN580) and on July 11 (VN581, VN587).

Vietnam Airlines will implement an additional schedule for flights between Vietnam and Taipei on July 11 and the carrier will replace its Airbus A321 aircraft for the route with the higher capacity Airbus A350 and Boeing 787 to serve travelers.

Passengers on the flights affected by typhoon Maria will receive support of a free change to available flights the following day. Passengers taking connecting flights at Taipei and Kaohsiung will receive support from Vietnam Airlines to rebook or adjust their itinerary.
