Truong Thanh Hang pocketed two of Vietnam’s four gold medals at the Thailand Open Track and Field Championships in Bangkok on October 9.
Hang crossed the finish line first in the women’s 1,500m and 800m events.
The runner’s victories put her in good standing to place at the 16th Asian Games next month in Guangzhou, China.
The “iron man” Vu Van Huyen also win a gold in the men’s decathlon event.
Tran Cong Phuoc brought home the final gold in the men’s high jump event.
