Global mobile network speed rankings sees Vietnam rise 10 spots

VOV.VN - The nation has risen 10 places to reach 56th in terms of the worldwide ranking for mobile network speed, according to the latest report released by Speedtest.

The average download speed in the country reached 44.5 Mbps, while the upload speed stood at an average of 20.2 Mbps.

Most notably, the download speed increased by 16% compared to four months previously, thereby helping the country improve its position in the rankings.

However, it is still placed lower than the world’s average speed which stands at 54,5Mbps.

The United Arab Emirates (UAE) topped the rankings with an average download speed of 194.04 Mbps, followed by the Republic of Korea with 192.58 Mbps, and Qatar with 179.81 Mbps.
