Forum seeks to develop brands for businesses
VOV.VN - Local businesses are required to formulate a brand development strategy in order to enter the international market, heard the Vietnam Brand Scale Up Forum in Ho Chi Minh City on January 19.
Addressing the forum, Nguyen Thi Kim Ngoc, deputy director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade, pointed out that many Vietnamese businesses have successfully developed product brands with high competitiveness, thereby affirming their reputation in both local and international markets.
However, they are advised to focus on making innovations in corporate governance and brand development, as well as improving product quality in an effort to win local and foreign customers’ trust, Ngoc noted.
Meanwhile, foreign experts also addressed challenges faced by Vietnamese businesses, put forth solutions aimed at enhancing their competitiveness, and share successful lessons for brand development in the international market.
They expressed their belief that through the great efforts put in by the business community and support given by authorities, Ho Chi Minh City would not only become an economic hub of Vietnam, but a place to create reputable and sustainable brands, thereby contributing to enhancing the country’s position on the world brand map.
