Saigontourist offers heritage and spiritual tours to Quang Tri

Quang Tri Province in north-central Vietnam is renowned for breathtaking landscapes, exotic local culture, spiritual values and friendly people.

The land is also famous for many war-related historical sites, which have attracted great numbers of domestic and international tourists such as Hien Luong Bridge, Vinh Moc Tunnels, McNamara Line (electric fence), Quang Tri’s ancient citadel, Ta Con Airport, and Lao Bao Prison.

Saigontourist’s four-star Saigon – Dong Ha Hotel is recommended as the perfect place for tourists to stay while they are in Quang Tri Province. The hotel will bring tourists memorable experiences when they visit the province on a special tour called “Heritage and spiritual journey”.

Leaving HCMC early in the morning on a flight from Tan Son Nhat International Airport, tourists will land in Hue City where they visit the Imperial Citadel and enjoy Hue specialties. They will then move on to neighboring Quang Tri.

After dinner, tourists will release flower garlands onto the Thach Han River to pay tribute to martyrs and war heroes. They will then return to Saigon – Dong Ha Hotel.

On the second day, tourists will explore Con Co Island in the morning, learning about the long and interesting history of the small island when visiting the traditional room where exhibits many war-related objects and introduces the island’s natural resources and potentials. Tourists can enjoy swimming at Ben Nghe – Mom Ho beach or dive down to explore coral reefs.

In the afternoon, tour guides will take tourists to Con Co Island’s lighthouse and then come back to the mainland to take part in beach activities at Cua Viet, one of the cleanest and most beautiful beaches in the province, and enjoy dinner with fresh seafood.

On the third day, tourists will visit the Vietnamese Demilitarized Zone and Truong Son National Martyrs Cemetery to learn more about the country’s history and pay tribute to more than 10,000 martyrs. After having lunch at the hotel, they will tour Dong Ha City, buy Lao and Thai goods, and then return to HCM City.

The tour is priced from VND2,930,000 per adult (applicable to group of 30 or above). Children between six and 11 years old are entitled to a 50% discount on standard adult ticket prices. Every two adults will get a free ticket for a child under six years old and a 50% discount for other children.
