Minister of Planning and Investment Bui Quang Vinh and South Korean Finance Minister Bahk Jae-wan signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on cooperation in the form of public-private partnership (PPP) at Lotte Hotel in Seoul on August 24.

Both sides agreed to hold ministerial-level meetings every year and sponsor international seminars on the use of latest technologies.
The same day, the Vietnamese Minister had a working session with Kil-Choo Moon, President of the Korean Institute of Science and Technology (KIST).
They reviewed the results of cooperation in recent years and discussed the measures to promote cooperation in the near future.
During his current visit, Vinh will meet with the managers of Samsung, Kumho Asiana, Posco, CJ, Lotte and other enterprises operating in Vietnam.
The RoK has invested in more than 3,000 projects with an estimated capitalization of US$24.24 billion.
