The Youth Union has completed preparations for the 14th Young Information Technology Talent contest, taking place in the central city of Da Nang, the union’s Central Committee secretary Nguyen Hoang Hiep said at a press conference in Hanoi on July 21.

More than 200 participants have registered for the four-day national contest, which begins on July 29.

 

These participants have already won district and provincial level contests, that took place in May and June, according to Mr Hiep, who is also director of the contest’s organizing committee.

 

The contest will include different test categories, including multiple choice questions, application practice, IT knowledge, software and programming.

 

The contest, co-organised by the Youth Union’s Central Committee, the Ministry of Information and Communications, Vietnam Television, the Vietnam Association for Information Processing and the Da Nang City People’s Committee, will offer prizes from VND300,000 to VND5 million.
