3 dead, 10 injured as shuttle bus turns turtle in northern Vietnam
VOV.VN - Three people were killed and 10 others were injured when a shuttle bus carrying 28 passengers flipped over at a national park in northern Vietnam on July 15 night.
The accident occurred at 22:30 pm at Xuan Son National Park of Tan Son district, Phu Tho province.
The bus which was going downhill lót control and fell into a ravine nearby.
Three people were reportedly dead on the spot, including the bus driver. Ten passengers were injured and were taken to a nearby medical stations for emergency treatment. The remaining 15 passengers suffered minor injuries.
Nguyen Xuan Toan, head of the Tan Son district administration, said the 9-seater bus was carrying 27 passengers from Hanoi on a trip to Xuan Son Naitonal Park.
Local authorities coordinated with relevant agencies in dealing with the consequences of the accident and providing support for the victims.
Investigation into the cause of the accident is underway.
