The Vietnamese diplomat reiterated Vietnam’s policy of expanding cooperation with foreign countries, particularly with members of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN).

He emphasized that Vietnam appreciates the development in the friendship the two countries enjoy as well as the support provided by Singapore in recent times.

For his part, the Singaporean President spoke highly of the exchange of high-level visits by leaders of the two countries, which he said have paved the way for broadening their cooperation.
