Vietnamese bodybuilders failed to touch gold at the 11th Southeast Asian Bodybuilding Championships in Rangoon, Myanmar from February 23-27.

Nguyen Hai Au and Se Pha won two silver medals for Vietnam in the men’s 75kg and 70kg categories, respectively, while Bui Van Vien got a bronze medal in the men’s 55kg category.

This was the first time, since 1998, Vietnam missed touching gold at a Southeast Asian bodybuilding tournament.

The team is expected to convene in May for training before attending the 2012 Asian Bodybuilding Chams, scheduled for Guangzhou, China, in August.
