The X51 factory of the General Department of Industry under the Ministry of National Defence has worked with the Bao Tin Company in HCM City to launch the vessel SEAS 16, the largest of its kind in South East Asia.
The vessel, which is 90m long, 14.5m wide and over 9m high, has a top speed of 17.5 nautical miles per hour.
Run by chief investor Bourbon Group from France, it can freeze and can fish on board, even in severe weather for a long period of time.
