Hanoi hosts Industrial Products, Machinery, Equipment and Automation Fair
VOV.VN - The Hanoi Industrial Products, Machinery, Equipment and Automation Fair in 2023 kicked off on May 17 in Hanoi, with the event creating opportunities for businesses to introduce their products and strengthening connectivity within the supply chain.
The trade fair attracted the participation of approximately 250 booths of domestic and foreign firms operating in the supporting industry from the Republic of Korea, Japan, Hong Kong (China), and Thailand.
Upon addressing the opening ceremony, Tran Thi Phuong Lan, acting director of the Hanoi Department of Industry and Trade, emphasised that the capital has deployed a number of solutions aimed at assisting enterprises in the supporting industry over recent times by launching trade promotion schemes in a bid to stimulate consumer demand and stabilise the domestic market.
The event therefore provides an ideal venue for local firms to strengthen linkages within the supply chain in order to raise product quality and competitiveness, as well as meeting consumers’ demand.
Furthermore, the fair aims to help businesses gain greater access to the cutting-edge technologies, automate their production activities, modernise production, increase labour productivity, enhance the economical use of fuel, whilst improving businesses’ capacity to participate in the global supply chain of multinational corporations and foreign-invested enterprises.
The event is scheduled to run through to May 19.
