The Japanese government will provide a non-refundable aid package worth US$200,000 for construction of two primary schools in the northern province of Ninh Binh.

A contract to this effect was signed in Hanoi on July 28.

Under the project, new classrooms will be built to replace the old, small ones which used to be farm storehouses in Yen Binh, Tam Diep town and Kim Chinh communes, Kim Son district.

At the signing ceremony, Japanese Ambassador to Vietnam Mitsuo Sakaba said that the two projects will help improve primary education in the two communes.
