FIFA has announced that Vietnam has dropped one notch to 140th in the world rankings and fallen to fourth in the Southeast Asian rankings for November.
Vietnam, which failed to reach the third qualifying round for the FIFA World Cup 2010, were placed behind Thailand, which moved to 113th in the world rankings and topped the region.
They also fell behind Singapore, who were 130th and second in the region, and Indonesia, at 134th.
