According to the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM), Vietnam is scheduled to arrive in the two countries after playing a friendly with Indonesia on September 15.

The Vietnam Football Federation (VFF) said it would accept the invitation if the two matches did not affect the national squad’s schedule.

However, it seems more likely that VFF would reject the offer for fear of that the national team will have to play too many matches before the AFF Cup.
