A scientific seminar was held in Vientiane on June 27 to discuss cooperation in culture and information between Vietnam and Laos.

The seminar was attended by Lao Deputy Minister of Culture and Information Bosenhkham Vongdara, Vietnamese Ambassador to Laos Nguyen Huy Quang, Rector of HCM City’s Culture University Tran Van Anh and more than 100 delegates and representatives from information and cultural agencies from Laos and Vietnam.

In his speech, Ambassador Nguyen Huy Quang emphasized that Vietnam-Laos relations in the field of information and culture have been actively promoted and have brought practical and effective results to the revolutionary cause of both countries.

Ambassador Quang believed that the Vietnam-Laos relations in the field of culture and information will continue to develop and contribute to strengthening the special friendship and solidarity between the two countries in all fields.

At the seminar, delegates heard 15 reports, which highlighted the importance of Vietnam-Lao cooperation in the field of culture and information.
