First batch of Vietnamese bird's nests exported to China by air
VOV.VN - The Hai Yen Nha Trang Trading Limited Company in the southcentral province of Khanh Hoa recently exported its first batch of high-quality bird's nests to the Chinese market via official channels.
This was the first batch of Vietnamese bird's nests officially transported to the Chinese market by air.
Accordingly, the company reached a deal with Chinese partner Changhe Trading Co., Ltd. (Shenzhen) on December 30, 2023 to transport the shipment from the Tan Son Nhat international airport (Vietnam) to the Shenzhen Bao'an International Airport (China).
The shipment has met the quality assessment standards set by relevant Chinese agencies and was officially handed over to the Chinese partner on January 5.
Tran Thanh Hai, CEO of The Hai Yen Nha Trang, emphasised that the firm is keen to transport the bird's nest shipment by air with the aim of ensuring the best quality of the products.
“We has always given top priority to the product quality in order to win customers’ trust, thereby seizing more opportunities to compete with international rivals in the world's largest bird's nest consuming market,” she noted.
Earlier, the first batch of Vietnamese bird’s nest products was shipped to China from the northern border province of Lang Son on November 16.
The shipment was conducted under a protocol signed between the Vietnamese Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development and the General Department of Customs of China on November 9, 2022.
Avanest Vietnam Nutrition Joint Stock Company is the first business to be granted a code specifically aimed at exporting two bird's nest products, refined bird's nest and pre-cooked bird's nests, to China.
