Hung Yen to build wastewater treatment plant using Japan’s technology

The northern province of Hung Yen has approved a pilot project to treat wastewater using Japan’s Johkasou technology, said Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui The Cu.

The northern province of Hung Yen has approved a pilot project to treat wastewater using Japan’s Johkasou technology, said Vice Chairman of the provincial People’s Committee Bui The Cu 
The 30-month project will be carried out at a cost of more than US$900,000 at the Ecopark urban area in Van Giang district and a kindergarten in Dinh Du commune of Van Lam district. 

The project aims to improve the quality of wastewater treatment in Vietnam through introducing the Johkasou technology and transferring operation and maintenance technique, thereby developing suitable maintenance services and devices for Vietnam’s market.
