A blood donation campaign will be held at My Dinh National Stadium, Hanoi, on February 14, according to the National Institute of Hematology and Blood Transfusion.
About 7,000 people are expected to donate 3,000 units of blood to be supplied to hospitals in the northern region.
Vietnam is in dire need of blood during the Tet holiday as students-the majority of blood donors-return to their hometowns to enjoy the holiday with their families.
