Dozens survive passenger bus fire on southern expressway
VOV.VN - All 22 passengers and the driver have managed to escape a bus after it caught fire on an expressway running across Long Thanh district of Dong Nai province, on April 19.
The bus with 22 passengers on board caught fire at 13:50 when it was travelling along Ho Chi Minh City – Long Thanh – Dau Giay expressway across Long Thanh district.
The driver quickly drove into the emergency lane and urged the passengers to escape the vehicle after discovering smoke inside.
The passengers managed to escape before the flame burned down the vehicle in minutes.
Hearing about the news, three fire engines and more than 15 firefighters were dispatched to the scene and the fire was put out at 14:30.
