An Italian Jazz concert themed “Dialektos” will be organized in Hanoi on December 9 and in HCM City on December 11, announced the Embassy of Italy in Vietnam.
The event will be performed by singer Maria Pia De Vito and pianist Huw Warren.
In 2009, singer Maria Pia De Vito’s disc called “Mind in Gap” won the first prize for international piece of work. One year later, “Jazz It” magazine selected her as the best Italian singer.
Pianist Huw Warren is also widely known in the world.
The concert aims to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Italy’s unification.
