PM Phuc to attend enthronement ceremony of new Japanese Emperor

VOV.VN - Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc is due to attend the ascension ceremony of Emperor Naruhito in Tokyo, Japan on October 22-23 at the invitation of the Japanese Government, the Vietnam Ministry of Foreign Affairs announced on October 17.

The Vietnam-Japan extensive strategic partnership over the recent past has grown steadily across multiple fields, especially trade, investment, defence - security, agriculture and education.

The forthcoming visit to Japan by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc shows Vietnam's appreciation for the enhancement of the comprehensive and substantial Vietnam-Japan ties.

PM Phuc will attend official events of the enthronement ceremony and is scheduled to have a number of bilateral meetings with other leaders from the countries attending the coronation.
