Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on October 10 signed a decision to provide VND161 billion from the State budget reserve for 11 central Vietnamese provinces to help them overcome difficulties caused by Typhoon Xangsane.

Under the decision, Nghe An, Ha Tinh, Quang Binh, Quang Tri and Quang Ngai provinces will receive VND10 billion each, Thua Thien-Hue and Quang Nam provinces VND30 billion each, Da Nang province VND40 billion, Binh Dinh province VND3 billion, Phu Yen province VND2 billion and Kon Tum province VND6 billion.
