During their stay in Paris from November 14-16, the delegates worked with the France National School of Administration (ENA) where many of France’s senior officials were trained.
The school’s International Relations Director Philippe Bastelica described Vietnam as a traditional partner of the ENA, saying that the school has so far trained nearly 80 Vietnamese officers and received many delegations from the Southeast Asian country to exchange and share experiences in training senior state officials.
For his part, Director Le Huu Nghia, who is also a member of the Party Central Committee, said he hopes that the ENA will continue to assist the HNAPA in training high-ranking officials and improving the quality of civil servants in Vietnam through cooperative programmes and the exchange of delegations.
The HNAPA and ENA representatives signed an agreement on bilateral cooperation in training Vietnamese staff, boosting the exchange of experts and implementing joint research programmes.
Learning experiences in personnel training and management was the aim of a three-day working visit to France by a delegation from the Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and Administration (HNAPA), led by Director Le Huu Nghia.
