Thuy Linh charming in Ao dai, non la at Mrs Worldwide 2018

VOV.VN - Vietnamese representative Duong Thuy Linh looked graceful in Ao dai (Vietnamese traditional dress) and non la (conical hat) as she competed in the talent event at Mrs Worldwide 2018 in Singapore on June 21.

In the talent competition, Thuy Linh sings the song 'Part of your world' from the movie 'The Little Mermaid'.

Linh said that while singing is not her strength, she tried her best for the competition. She received enthusiastic support from the other contestants.

Due to the busy schedule, contestants take what time they have to make friends and get to know each other.

The Vietnamese beauty presents conical hats printed with a map of her country and 'I love Vietnam' as special gifts to all of her fellow contestants.

They are all delighted by Linh’s gifts and hope to visit Vietnam in the future.

Linh said she spends just 3 hours sleeping every day. Despite being exhausted, she always smiled and looked radiant.

Linh receives great encouragement from her mother who is accompanying her during the pageant.

In the following days, Thuy Linh and the other 24 contestants will pose for photographs in evening gowns and swimsuits, before taking part in some charity activities in Malaysia.

They will return to Singapore on June 23 to prepare for the grand finale on the following day.

Duong Thuy Linh, 35, is from Hanoi. In 2004, she won the bronze medal in the Vietnam Supermodel contest and represented Vietnam at Miss Tourism International. In 2008, she finished in the top 5 at Miss Universe Vietnam and was given the Miss Friendly title.
