In his address at the conferment ceremony in April 25, Prof. Vladimir Buiyanov, director of the institute highlighted Mr Thi’s devotion to the cause of education and training for generations of Vietnamese students.

He also emphasized Prof Thi’s great contribution to strengthening cooperation between Vietnamese and Russian universities, and consolidating the traditional friendship between the two countries.

For his part, Prof Thi considered the conferment an encouragement for him and a good assessment of the cooperation between the two countries’ education sectors. He vowed to do his best to strengthen education cooperation with Russia and the institute the field.

Earlier, Prof Thi delivered a lecture for students at the institute, with a focus on tertiary education in Vietnam, educational policies, and the quality of teaching and learning in the country.
