The Ho Chi Minh Academy of Politics and Public Administration held a seminar on August 31 to celebrate the 65th anniversary of the founding of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam, now the Socialist Republic of Vietnam.

More than 60 papers presented by professors, PhDs, and researchers at the event affirmed the historic value and stature of the August Revolution and the birth of the Democratic Republic of Vietnam.

They also highlighted the enormous achievements made by the State in the nation’s democratic and socialist revolutions.

Participants in the event also proposed solutions to build on the values of the Revolution and deal with shortcomings in the country’s renovation (Doi Moi) process.
