Over 2,000 software products and IT solutions will be showcased at the Techmart Vietnam 2007 which will be held from Sept. 6-9 in the central city of Da Nang, the organising board announced on July 18.

As many as 400 businesses nationwide, including some 100 from the central and Central Highland regions have registered for the fair.

At the fair, a "virtual market" will be set up to help visitors get better access to information about over 6,000 items of technology, equipment, and related services and products.

The event is aimed at developing the technological market, combining scientific research, with training and production, creating business opportunities and improving the competitive edge of the economy in the international integration.
