Twenty football players have been called up to prepare for the ASEAN Football Federation Futsal Championships’ qualifiers which are slated to take place in Bangkok on late August and early September.
The squad, comprising mostly players from southern clubs, started their training exercises on July 24 under the coaching of Thailand’s Pattaya Piemkum at Thanh Long Stadium in HCM City.
Vietnam did not qualify for the group stage in the last tournament held in Bangkok.
