The British Council and some related agencies held a seminar on Vietnamese education in London on March 13.

The seminar is part of an international conference being held in the UK capital from March 12-16 to discuss the adaptation of education to a changing world.

Nearly 100 representatives from management agencies, and UK universities and colleges attended to share Vietnam’s information on its education and training priorities and provide conditions for dialogues and cooperation in the field between Vietnam and the United Kingdom.

Addressing the event, Minister of Labour, Invalids, and Social Affairs Pham Thi Hai Chuyen said Vietnam is seeking further cooperation with the British Council and other UK partners in vocational training, job creation, poverty reduction and social security.

During the UK visit, Minister Chuyen and her entourage met with UK education officials and worked with a number of UK agencies in charge of vocational training.
