A high-ranking delegation of the Party Central Committee, the State, the Government and the Vietnam Fatherland Front (VVF) on August 31 visited and laid wreaths at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum to mark the 61st anniversary of the National Day (September 2).

Party and State leaders expressed their deep respects and gratitude for the great contributions by late President Ho Chi Minh to the revolutionary cause of the Party and the nation.


The delegation led by Party leader Nong Duc Manh also paid a flora tribute to the Hanoi Monument to heoric combatants who laid down their life for national independence and freedom.


The same day, many delegations from the Ministry of National Defense, the Ministry of Public Security, the Ministry of Labour, Invalids and Social Affairs and the Hanoi Municipal People’s Committee also paid tributes at the Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum.
