Fire engulfs Binh Duong warehouse

According to initial information, the blaze was sparked at 1am in RK Resource Co, Ltd’s finished product warehouse, which covers an area of more than 3,000 square metres. The fire spread rapidly throughout the warehouse before spreading to neighbouring areas.

The Bau Bang district Fire Prevention and Fighting Police Department mobilized 15 fire engines and more than 100 fire fighters to the scene to combat the blaze.

However, the massive flames and intense rising heat caused difficulties for fire fighters in their attempts to prevent the flames from spreading to neighbouring areas. The fire fighters worked until 10am to finally bring the blaze under control.

There have been no reports of fatalities from the blaze but all facilities inside the warehouse have been completely destroyed.

The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
