Hanoi Art Connecting 2023 draws 156 Vietnamese and foreign artists
VOV.VN - Hanoi Art Connecting 2023, an international exhibition and workshop, opened in the capital on October 19 with the participation of 156 domestic and foreign artists from 27 countries and territories globally.
This year’s event, the sixth of its kind, will include ceramic painting activities, exhibitions, workshops, and exchanges.
Visitors will have the chance to gain a greater understanding about a variety of different kinds of art and get a firsthand look at how artists produce their works through workshops on painting, graphics, sculpture, and pottery.
The event has been held annually by Asia Art Link (AAL) and the Hanoi Industrial Fine Arts University since 2016 with a view to connecting both Vietnamese and international artists.
It has grown rapidly over recent years, featuring an increasing number of artists and countries participating. Indeed, there were only five countries and 20 international artists joining activities in 2016.
Hanoi Art Connecting 2023 is scheduled to last until October 24.
