After being awarded the title of best player in the 2008 AFF Suzuki Cup, goalkeeper Duong Hong Son has been chosen as one of top 10 best goalkeepers in Asia by reporter John Duerden of web Goal.com.
The list of 10 includes a number of keepers from national teams that are members of the Asian Football Confederation (AFC).
Apart from Hong Son, the top 10 best Asian goalkeepers include players familiar with Vietnamese fans such as Mark Schwarzer (Australia), Lee Woon-jae (the Republic of Korea) and Markus Horison (Indonesia).
