A concert dubbed “Chants Lunairres”, has been held in Zurich, Switzerland, featuring songs set from poems written by famous Vietnamese Han Mac Tu.
The event was held under the auspices of Wallisellen township’s authorities, to mark the 70th death anniversary of the talented poet.

During the 2-hour performance, overseas Vietnamese singer Camille Huyen and guitarist Waltherr Giger, who himself set the poems to music pieces, took audiences to a dialogue with Tu, who died of leprosy at the age of 28.

In addition, the audiences had a chance to enjoy lullabies from the central city of Hue and several northern provinces in Vietnam.

Camille Huyen and Waltherr Giger are said to have spent two years preparing for the performance that is expected to be repeated in the coming 2010 Hue Festival.
