Vietnam, Israel share innovation ideas for common development

VOV.VN -The Ho Chi Minh National Academy of Politics and the Israeli Embassy in Vietnam co-hosted a seminar entitled “25th years of Vietnam-Israel diplomatic relations: Sharing Innovation Ideas and Experience for Joint Development” in Hanoi on June 25.

The event saw the attendance of 200 delegates from relevant ministries, universities and research institutes.

In his remarks, Israeli Ambassador to Vietnam Nadav Eshcar said the Israeli Government has worked out policies and provided consultancy to support the development of Vietnamese start-ups.

He said he hopes that scholars are willing to do joint research and share experience for development in future, adding that his nation has dispatched start-up experts to work with businesses and young start-ups in Hanoi, Ho Chi Minh City and Da Nang to share Israel’s experience in this area.

Additionally, a number of start-up delegations from Vietnam made fact-finding tours of Israel, he said.

Assoc. Prof. Dr. Le Quoc Ly, Vice President of the HCM National Academy of Politics highlighted the seminar as a good way to help tighten Vietnam-Israel ties and scientific research cooperation between the academy and Israeli partners.

At the seminar, participants discussed and shared start-up experience and recent innovation ideas, as well as orientations for furthering bilateral cooperation in  the time to come.
