Nearly 100 kg of drugs seized at Noi Bai International Airport
VOV.VN - The drug-related crime investigation Police Division (PC04) in collaboration with relevant agencies on January 6 arrested three suspects charged with trafficking drugs from Germany to Vietnam.
Officials at the Noi Bai International Airport checked eight suspicious packages potentially containing drugs weighing more than 205 kilograms sent to Vietnam from Germany.
Searching the packages, they found there were 98 kilograms of synthetic drugs inside. The haul included 45 kilograms of methamphetamine, 53 kilograms of ketamine, and 2,000 sachets known as “Happy Water”, a powdered mixture containing caffeine, diazepam, ketamine, ecstasy, and methamphetamine which had been stashed in carton boxes.
Making the arrests, Hanoi police handed over the three suspects and all exhibits to the police in Ho Chi Minh City for further investigations.
