Vietnam pilot posthumously awarded medal, promotion
VOV.VN - Colonel Tran Quang Khai who died in a crash landing last week received a posthumous bravery award on June 21 along with a promotion to senior lieutenant colonel, retroactive to the date of his death.

Colonel Khai and co-pilot Major Nguyen Huu Cuong went missing on June 14 in an Su-30MK2 aircraft during a training mission off the coast of the central province of Nghe An. Major Cuong was rescued by fishermen the following day.
