Radio the Voice of Vietnam on June 19 held a wide range of activities to mark Vietnam Revolutionary Press Day (June 21), including a singing festival in Hanoi and a meeting with freelance reporters in Ho Chi Minh City who regularly provide news stories for VOVNews.

Radio the Voice of Vietnam (VOV) presented insignias “For the cause of the Vietnamese Press” to 21 VOV staff and reporters who have greatly contributed to the Vietnamese Press.

VOV also hosted a singing festival for women journalists. Singers are women journalists working on VOV editorial boards. Some good performances will be short-listed to join the national singing contest.

The same day, VOV online newspaper, VOVNews, also met with the reporters in Ho Chi Minh City. Earlier, VOVNews cooperated with the Ho Chi Minh City Labour Union in District 1 to organize a cooking contest to mark Vietnam Family Day (June 28).
