• VietJetAir supports Vietnam Paralympians 

Cao Ngoc Hung, Trinh Cong Luan and Nguyen Thi Hai will compete in track and field, Chau Hoang Tuyet Lan, Nguyen Van Phuc and Nguyen Binh An in weightlifting and Vo Thanh Tung, Nguyen Thanh Trung, Duong Thi Lan and Trinh Thi Bich Nhu in swimming events.

Tung will be the first Vietnamese candidate for the men’s 50m freestyle event.

The team arrived in the Olympic village on August 23 and attended the flag hoisting ceremony three days later.

Earlier, they had two different training sessions, one in Ireland from July 20-August 9 and another in Bradford, UK from August 10-23.

This is the first time they have done intensively training abroad before the Summer Games.
